cup and saucer Tea-pot Set of 11 pieces Plate 25 cm Plat 20cm

Very original porcelain tea set, inspired by Italian Baroque architecture, 17th century. The pattern is elaborate, precise like the pen drawings of yesteryear. It retraces the space of this architecture with its contrasting arcades, these gilded with fine gold. The teapot could evoke the Tower of Pisa, the pouring spout and the S-shaped handle make an interesting visual counterbalance. Bright whiteness of porcelain, strong feeling.

The set consists of 4 cups, 4 saucers, the milk jug, the sugar bowl, the teapot. The platters offered are superbly matched.

Bone china, superb overglaze for the patterns, as well as quality gilding.
