The Gaiwan is the ancestor of the teapot, this one to be more precise is a Tenmoku, close to the Japanese Houhin.
JianZhan porcelain is characterized by its extravagant colors due to the natural glaze made from iron ore and vegetable ash. When firing, these simple elements form the most unpredictable and extraordinary crystals. Each teapot will be different. Also note its resistance to shock, due to iron ore.
