Red poppy porcelain cup and saucer

Dazzling teacup, its saucer looks like a painting. On a porcelain with a fine relief grain, of an incredible white, bright red poppies stand out. The sheen is striking, classically shaped with slight undulations bordered in gold. 

Bone china is top quality, fine, translucent. The patterns in underglaze prints are wonderful. The gilding is applied by hand in overglaze.
