Large rainbow reflections mug from JianZhan. It is one of the renowned porcelain workshops dating from the Song dynasty, very appreciated at that time by Japan and Korea. After having rather disappeared, this porcelain was brought up to date in the 1990s with modernity and tradition. Each handcrafted work is unique, it is also called tenmoku (eye of the sky). This technique is now on the list of International Intangible Cultural Heritage.
The unique enamel is due to various kilns, various positioning in the kilns, different firing temperatures. She has her own very recognizable style, although with 5 versions: Rainbow, rabbit fur, oil stain, turtle shell, and partridge features.
