Very original porcelain tea set, inspired by Italian baroque architecture, 17th century. The pattern is intricate, precise like the drawings of yesteryear made with a quill. It retraces the space of this architecture with its arcades, which are gilded with fine gold, in contrast. The teapot could evoke the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the spout and the S-shaped handle create an interesting visual counterbalance. Bright whiteness of the porcelain, strong sensation.
The set consists of 4 cups, 4 saucers, the milk jug, the sugar bowl, the teapot. The offered trays are beautifully matched.
Bone china, superb overglaze for the patterns, as well as a quality gilding.
