Handmade Chinese Yixing teapot in purple clay 'Zisha'. It has exceptional thermal insulation and a thick wall to keep it warm for longer. 

Even though we have a red teapot here, the name for Yixing clay is purple clay, or Zisha, a great reference in pottery.
