Chinese silver-gilded ceramic teapot from 39,00€
Chinese teapot in beautiful silver-gilded ceramic, seaweed and fish motifs and traditional design. Superb gift to give, presented in a box like only Asians have the secret. Pottery is closely linked to money, the pattern also takes shape and lights up. With an ovoid design that we now know well, the dragon egg is presented here in 3 versions. It is a sumptuous gift while being affordable, an honorable alternative to a solid silver service. The Asian use of gifts reinforces courtesy, communication, respect and reciprocity. “The ritual is like a gift.” The traditional technique of silver gilding, an ancestral know-how, uses 99% finely ground silver, diluted in iced water, to cover the pottery, then subjected to high temperature, the silver takes shape with the ceramic. Patterns come next. Teapots and cups have the same properties as a solid silver object. That is to say germicidal and bactericidal, the tea will be softened and more flavorful. The 170ml ovoid teapots have a small capacity like many Chinese teapots, they favor tasting. 170ml for the gaiwan too. 60ml for cups. Style: Traditional/Gift/Chic Origine : Fujian

We like the golden brown tone which appears on the handle and the lid button and in small faded touches on the edges. The porcelain from the Ru kilns is basically a ceramic painted with overglaze using traditional techniques that are still used today. 3 models of teapots, each as traditional as the next, the "dragon egg" shape, the round Xishi shape, and the more "imperial" one with a basket handle. Traditional plum blossom ceramic teapot 55,00€
Traditional plum blossom ceramic teapot. The round and chunky design is that of the traditional Chinese, artisanal for its relief pattern and its cooking. Here we have an illustration of what the same pattern gives with different treatments and firings. The branch of plum blossoms is highlighted all in delicacy of gilding for the sophisticated Celadon and Jade Porcelain models, while it appears strong and solid on a ceramic with powerful and rustic colors. The plum blossom is associated with spring, with the end of bad cold and harsh days, with rebirth after trials.  The rustic ceramic has been passed through several kilns, hence its name. Celadon is known for its monochrome color in blue-green shades, often reminiscent of water. Jade porcelain charms with its shine. We recognize the know-how of the workshops Jingdezhen, tradition and refinement. Capacity 660ml, height 11.5cm. Style: Traditional Chinese/Pottery/Crafts Marque : Energe Spring
