Refined porcelain cup, Western style, its solid pink, red, or green color sits on a bright white flowered saucer, worthy of quality porcelain. The inside wall of the cup is occupied by roses which are pleasant to look at while drinking your tea. The colors are rich in pigment, the light likes them and accentuates their depth. Fine gold edging on the edges, gold handles.
The porcelain was treated using the Celadon technique for monochrome color. The designs were applied to the porcelain paste and fixed by firing at high temperatures, blending into the enamel. The gilding was applied by hand in overglaze.
