Black cast iron teapot, contemporary and rustic. Its traditional manufacture is that of the tetsubin, a Japanese kettle in raw cast iron. Its design is contemporary with its rounded square shape, but rustic and authentic with its raw cast iron whose rough grain due to sand casting can be seen.
The inner wall has been treated by high temperature oxidation. A continuous film of oxygen oxide has formed and protects against oxidation. Respectful of the environment, it has not undergone any substance addition for this purpose. The stainless steel filter is wide and spacious so the tea leaves can spread out and bring out their full aroma.
