Chinese retro blue white porcelain teapot. It is one of the ceramics coming out of traditional "Ru" kilns, the typically Chinese pattern is painted in overglaze, in a clean and precise blue. Stylized and winding flowers, friezes in small clouds or waves depending on the interpretation, or even geometric around the edge of the lid. We like the golden brown tone which appears on the handle and the lid button and in small faded touches on the edges.
The porcelain from the Ru kilns is basically a ceramic painted with overglaze using traditional techniques that are still used today. 3 models of teapots, each as traditional as the next, the "dragon egg" shape, the round Xishi shape, and the more "imperial" one with a basket handle. They have respectfully in order 210ml, 220ml and 240ml. Small capacities according to traditional Chinese teapots intended primarily for ceremonial tea tasting.
