Jian Zhan silver blue teapot

Wonderful "chrome" blue teapot, it's a little Jian Zhan. Its roundness is highlighted by the silvery reflections of the thousands of small splashes: a difficult to control result of firing at very high degrees (1300) of a clay glaze with a high iron content. This ice blue one has the reputation of promising a tasty and beneficial tea.  

Drinking tea with Jian Zhan is said to prevent anemia, high blood pressure and have a calming effect.

The jianZhan glaze is loaded with natural ore, which gives it equally wonderful effects. In addition, we have here a very solid and resistant pottery.
