Red walled teapot in solid silver

A marvelous artisanal teapot with cloisonné motifs in pure silver. Two large flowers, proportioned, symmetrical on a red background, intertwine by their branches. Superb contrasts between the intense red and green of the leaves, the soft tones of the flowers, not forgetting the royal blue frieze that borders the teapot and the lid. A beautiful madness!

Pure handwork, made sober and natural. The silver handle is braided so as not to get burned. The interior is lined with silver. The red button on the lid, like the icing on the cake. The designs formed by silver partitions are then filled in with pigmented glazes. A work that we have not seen for a long time. The tea service offered is simply sublime.

Cloisonne Beijing was inscribed as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage of China in 2006.
