American teapot and cups with laces

The white porcelain teapot has a beautiful volume, its unusual shape ends in a serrated crown around the lid, the same openwork lace in braiding around the saucers. The design is opulent, powerful in the American style in comparison with the more traditional one of our old Europe, the corolla cups follow the shape of the teapot. The pattern of the star model expresses freshness, the vine leaves stand out sharply on the white with a beautiful green, fine gilding underlines the corkscrew shoots, the serrated edges and the handles. 

Capacity of the teapot: 850ml, cups: 180ml, enough to make a good tea, a good chocolate.

2 other models: one romantic in the American 1920s, with roses and a ballerina as pink as these. The other no less romantic evokes the time of crinolines.

Beautiful sturdy porcelain. The patterns are in underglaze printing, which prevents any corrosion. Note the magnificent hand work of carving and hollowing out the lace. Gilding also applied by hand.
