Gold and silver ceramic teapot

Very beautiful handcrafted ceramic teapot decorated with black, gold and silver interlacing enhanced with turquoise. This design depicts a mythical Chinese Taotie creature. The enamel is intense, powerful and clean for the pattern as well as for the gilding of the lid button. The process of this ceramic follows the traditions of an ancient technique, the hand-painted pattern.

The matching cups are also intense in pigment. The gold and silver interlacing gives relief with areas of shadow and light. This technique is a legacy of porcelain craftsmanship that refers to the Intangible Cultural Heritage craftsmanship in China. The signature at the bottom of the teapot guarantees the exceptional quality of this ceramic.
