Gaiwan porcelain bamboo sky earth turquoise

A white porcelain gaiwan with bamboo decor between sky and turquoise earth. The sky is the lid, the earth is the saucer, the bowl for the person, that's what the ancients say. They also say a tea service to define a gaiwan which remains the popular Chinese element, a personal object which renders many services. This one has a lot of class and elegance, we like the sharpness of the pattern painted finely by hand. The blue combined with the gilding gives us a sunny feeling, between sky and sea!

The porcelain is fine, translucent, the bamboo branch painted on the biscuit will be underglaze at high temperature. The turquoise pigmentation is intense and sharp, the gilding dense.

Capacity 180ml, overall height 9.7cm and 10cm in diameter.
