An embossed porcelain teapot, with small blue flowers. Grape leaves and daisies crown the lid and then tumble onto the round, pleated whiteness, as if under an arbor. Garlands of flowers swirl around the large, waffle cups and saucers as well. Blue on white patterns are a great classic, an inexhaustible source of creativity. The teapot is generous, the cups are also advantageous, the set presents all the favorable signs for a successful tea-time.
High quality white porcelain, the patterns are applied to the biscuit underglaze and subjected to very high temperatures. Fine and discreet gilding, carefully painted by hand.
