Lotus and blue waves porcelain tea service

Very beautiful porcelain tea service, lotus motifs on blue waves. The design is rather modern, the porcelain of an exquisite whiteness, the lid and the bottom as the saucers are printed with deep blue waves on which stand out white lotuses. Beautiful dense gilding for the lid button and finesse for the bases and borders, but also to follow the dynamism of the spout. 

The porcelain here bears witness to a great purity and malleability of kaolin and bone ash (bone china), the clay with which the porcelain is shaped. The pattern is applied in underglaze, high shine.
