Blue and gold porcelain Zen teapot

Zen blue porcelain teapot on gilded silver. Indeed, this delightful little master teapot, also signed, is made of porcelain with the motifs of 10 thousand Buddhas painted in an airy blue on one hand, and on the other powerfully plated in silver with a geometric pattern in relief. The design with a wide and stable base rests on 3 small feet. Small, it is of course intended for connoisseur tea tasting. It is also terribly aesthetic and ornamental. This makes it a sumptuous gift, although quite affordable. So are the cups that can be combined. Gilded silver is a traditional silver gilding technique, we use 99% finely ground silver, which is diluted in ice water, to line the walls, then fired at high temperature, the silver takes shape with the porcelain like a glaze.
