Contemporary mountain ceramic tea set

Tea service with a contemporary Japanese design, black ceramic with the motif of "distant mountain", series name of this model. Nice contrast between the colored and smooth enamel of the mountain which stands out sharp and subtle on the black and grainy ceramic, visually comparable to the black cast iron of certain Japanese kettles. The soft color of the interior enamel walls of the small cups complete this sober and chic set. 

Black pottery is very old, the material comes from the lower layers and the quality obtained after firing at a high temperature of 1320°C contains a good amount of iron. This material is nicknamed "the stone bone that did not touch the wind".
